Common questions about SellerRestore.
How the free diagnosis works, what the paid plans include, how SellerRestore handles restrictions and suspensions, and what it cannot promise.
What is SellerRestore?
SellerRestore is an independent seller-support platform designed to help eBay sellers understand account restrictions or suspensions, verification requests, payout holds, policy issues, and recovery options. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by eBay.
Is the diagnosis really free?
Yes. The notice diagnosis, guided questionnaire, and free case-understanding summary are designed to be available before you pay for a personalized recovery plan.
What should I paste into the analyzer?
Paste the full message eBay sent you about the restriction, suspension, or review. Remove passwords, full Social Security numbers, full card numbers, or any other information you do not want included.
Can SellerRestore tell me why my account was restricted or suspended?
SellerRestore analyzes the wording of the notice and separates the likely underlying issue from supporting document requests, suspension status, payout conditions, and other review consequences. It is designed to avoid inventing facts that are not actually in the notice.
Can SellerRestore help with a suspended account?
Yes. Suspension and permanent-restriction cases are supported. The recovery logic can identify suspension language, organize the case history, separate the suspension itself from the underlying reason, identify new evidence, and build a more targeted reconsideration or escalation plan.
What is included in the personalized recovery plan?
The paid plan is designed to include evidence priorities, gaps to address, a step-by-step action sequence, warnings, an escalation roadmap, and a case-specific response draft based on your answers.
What is the $499 formal dispute and arbitration preparation plan?
It is intended as a last-resort preparation service after ordinary support, appeals, manual review, and escalation have failed. SellerRestore helps organize the complete record, prepare a Notice of Dispute, define the requested resolution, track the required pre-arbitration process, and prepare arbitration-demand materials if the matter remains unresolved. It is document and process preparation, not legal advice or attorney representation.
Does the $499 plan include arbitration filing fees or a lawyer?
No. The plan does not include filing fees, arbitrator fees, attorney representation, or outside professional fees. Those may apply separately depending on the governing agreement and dispute process.
Does SellerRestore guarantee reinstatement?
No. eBay makes the final decision on restrictions, suspensions, appeals, verification, and account access. SellerRestore helps you organize facts, evidence, and responses, but cannot guarantee a particular outcome.
Is SellerRestore a law firm?
No. SellerRestore does not provide legal advice and is not a substitute for an attorney when legal advice is needed.
Can I use SellerRestore for payout holds?
Yes. The analyzer can help distinguish between a payout condition, transaction-level funds availability, and a broader account review when the wording of the eBay notice supports that distinction.
Can it help with linked or associated accounts?
Yes. SellerRestore is designed to ask careful follow-up questions about ownership, employment, shared addresses, devices, financial information, account access, and other possible connections without assuming the relationship.
Can it help with invoices or proof of purchase?
Yes. Inventory and invoice reviews are one of the main use cases. SellerRestore can help organize purchase records, payment proof, listing matches, and evidence gaps into a clearer submission strategy.
Can it help with VeRO or authenticity issues?
Yes. The platform can help organize rights-owner notices, purchase documentation, provenance, listing details, and authenticity evidence. It does not determine legal ownership of intellectual property rights.
Do I need an account?
You can begin with the free analyzer without saving a case. A signed-in account is used for the secure case workspace, saved answers, documents, and entitled recovery plans.
Are my case documents public?
No. The secure case workspace uses private storage and temporary signed links for document access.
Can I contact SellerRestore directly?
Yes. A Contact Us page is available. The form is currently a front-end form only and is not yet routed to a support email while the final support identity and workflow are being selected.
